1/16 Panther G

Now I finished my Pz IV it's time to get started on the Pz V.

Picked up cheap 2nd hand Panther G some time ago and bought the taigen Panther hull from forgebeartanks.com

Added some bearings to the idlers and turned some shafts on a drill.

Made some bearing housings for the drive shafts.

These slot onto the drive shafts.

and the transmission covers keep them in place.

Put the sprockets and tracks on then gave it a quick test run-

Some of the wheels came lose so I'll have to drill/file the shafts to give the grub screw something to bite into. Very impressed with the Taigen hull though I'm going to have to move the switchs into the rear stowage box and remove the recharge socket (I never recharge the battery inside the tank.)

Added some detail to the tool racks and spare track hangers-

1/16 Pz III

Pic's of a Heng Long Pz II I painted up some years ago. It was just a quick repaint job (and ariel replacement).

1/16 R/C PzKpfw I Video

Took my 3D printed Pz I out for a drive.

It didn't have enough power to turn on the grass but I was pleased that the tracks held up. This is the first time I've driven the printed tracks so hard and when the tracks did get snagged the tank cut out before the track broke.

Full build is HERE

1/16 R/C PzKpfw II Ausf F

Still need to do the electronics and the track tensioner (the idlers are sitting a little high in the photos) and may redo the tracks sometime as these look a little chunky.
